Danielle is known as a leading voice for female writers mixing both comedy and heart to deliver songs and stories that cross generational appeal. Danielle first gained attention with her first musical "Non-Equity The Musical!" which was voted top 10 shows in the New York City International Fringe Festival and now a cult classic for musical theatre nerds - (Cast Album on Spotify and Apple Music). Since then, Danielle has written several shows and songs that have been performed Off Broadway, on National Tours, NYC's Lincoln Center, and around the globe. Her most recent project is a girls night out musical comedy titled- Little Black Dress which she wrote, produced, and starred in. It's first year on tour, Little Black Dress played 26 US cities til March of 2020.
Other writing projects Danielle has worked on include New York Times Best Selling Author Sheryl Berk's "Dance Divas Nutcracker Ballet" which she wrote lyrics to with YouTube Sensation Ms. Rachel. The show starred Dance Mom's Elliana Walmsley and was Off Broadway on Theatre Row in NYC. Her dark comedy "The Bridge Play" was one of the 6 plays selected Off- Broadway as be part of the SummerShortsNYC series along with playwrights Neil LaBute, Nick Payne, and Share White. The Bridge Play was also one of two plays selected (with Tony Award winner David Auburn Proof ) as part of Westport Connecticut's "Play with Your Food" series. In 2021, Danielle directed The Bridge Play at The Arts Garage in South Florida as part of a suicide awareness and prevention series. Dec 9th and 11th 2022 Danielle returned to the Arts Garage to direct the world premiere of her Christmas Comedy "Family Tree" which has now been nominated for several BroadwayWorld Awards including Best Play, Best New Play, and Best Direction.
As a performer Danielle has been all over the world having been a part of 6 different touring shows including Nickelodeon and Spank! The Fifty Shades of Grey Parody- for which she wrote one of the songs "Please Don't Spank My Butt". Danielle has now relocated from NYC to St. Petersburg Florida. If you'd like to catch her in a show, come to Spitfire Comedy House in St. Pete Saturday Nights at 9pm where she will be performing in "Choose The Improvised Musical".
